What do you do with your home time?

    I'm sure many of you guy are OTR like myself and probably stay out 2 months at a time to make sure your money's stacking right. And most likely once you do get home time, you probably cherish it by living it up the best you can in those days. So, my question is how did you used to spend your free time prior to trucking and how do spend your home time now as a trucker? As typical Joe with a Job I'd get home from work and school, eat dinner, watch a lil TV and hit the hay. On the weekend I'd sleep a lot and stay at home because I just wanted to rest up because I was working so hard throughout the week. Now I'll go out to a restaurant with my family. Goto a casino, go shopping, barhopping, go-to the beach, just make the best use of my home time. What about you guys? What boring filler activities do you no longer tolerate? I bet most of you guys don't really watch TV at home.

    U got that right about the tv, i wouldnt even know what to watch... me i just like to relax and enjoy my time not dealing with trucker stuff... 3 days later im usually gettin the itch to hit the road again

    Drink a case of Tsingtao Beer.
    Drink 4 bottles of Menage a Trois ""Midnight" wine.
    Double up of the Metformin diabetes pills.
    Then time to hit the road again.

    Hang out with my GF .
    Cook alot .
    Make arrangements for what ever my truck needs .
    Drink beer and wine.
    Play in my shop .
    Run errands.
    Pay Bill's.
    Sleep late .
    Watch tv .
    Stay on top of book work and tax stuff .
    Garage sale and bargain hunt if I have time .
    Never in the past thought I'd prefer a nice apartment over a house but its sure freed up a lot more time to enjoy what I really like doing.
