As far as a desperate situation is concerned, give me a freaking break! With all the help and welfare in this country, there is no reason to ah what the hell, if I have to explain it, you won't understand anyway.
Bleeding hearts....LuDiesel, EZ Money, CargoWahgo and 1 other person Thank this. -
It comes back to situational awareness...
I'm bout as far from a bleeding heart as you can get. But I do need to be able to sleep at night. -
Im going to carry one of those mini cans of wd40 with the flipup straw in my pocket if im in a shady place. Spray someone in the face with wd40 and they would cry like a baby. Give you enough time to get to safety.

All tnese people with there unproven defense sprays and ideas. I am not betting my life on anything short of a .40
If you threaten my life you have forfeit yours. -
I sleep just fine........My Ruger in my bunk!
Pepper spray may only slow down a crack head at best....You never know now days what lurks around truck stops and some of the not so great parts of town we sleep in. -
When you are getting out of your truck and also when you are about to get into your truck argue loudly with yourself. If you need an example see the movie Lord of the Rings where Gollum is arguing with himself. That should alleviate any problems and also most likely you will have trucks parked around you leave giving you plenty of room for a quiet night of sleep.
Big Don Thanks this. -
I was thinking about this earlier. A lot of truckers have this figured out. They don't take baths. Nobody will go near them.
