My go to is "navigate to the nearest.." truck stop or rest area. Works like a charm. The ai and voice recog are amazi g these days and its free.rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
I mostly stream from Pandora. At night I listen to a lot of trip-hop or down tempo House. The Zero7 channel. Stuff like Zero7, Morcheeba, thievery Corp, Groove Armada. During the day I listen to the Jose Gonzalez Channel, a punk rock Channel, big pimpin’ Channel.
Podcasts I seem to listen to Joe Rogan and Hardcore history plus other left leaning stations.
When tired I listen to Fox News for about 5 minutes. I find that their particular brand of entertainment makes me angry enough to keep me awake in abject horror for about 2 hours. -
swervyjoe, Rocks and otterinthewater Thank this.

When I want actual news I go to twitter and just search till I get my confirmation bias reinforced.
I don’t believe any of the channels. They’re all a bunch of liars pushing their own agenda.Rideandrepair, Lepton1 and WesternPlains Thank this. -
Besides.... I am not a real fan of American Rock...
Have been thinking about Spotify.. gotta do some research... I want music from my original country Brasil and also electronic and deep house music from Europe.. the ones I hear on radio really suck....
Nowadays I have been listening to video music while on the road...
Just need to find a way to connect the tablet with the truck radio so I can listen to the music thru truck speakers...Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Lepton1 Thanks this.

Lately I’ve been listening to the sobs of the female hitchhiker I picked up. She cries every time I tell her “it puts the lotion on it’s skin, and it checks that the jaws are shut on the 5th wheel.”
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
And Yeah!! I found the Bluetooth adapter that someone mentioned in another thread... Bought this one...
And now I can fully enjoy the music I want... from Brasil, and shows, and more... and don't have to pay any extra..
The sound is good and clear... and much better than the tablet or the laptop...
Songs that I would not enjoy when hearing on the tablet, sound totally "transformed" thru the truck speakers cause I can hear all the instruments and they sound really great!!
I would generally not enjoy these kind of regional Brazilian country music but when I heard them on the truck speakers it was like WOW!!
Looks like I will quit that boring Satellite radio for a while....Last edited: Sep 20, 2018
