I have XM and don't know what I did before I got it. I think I went completely buggy :biggrin_25526: trying to find stations on the AM and FM bands you could listen to for more than 10 miles.

I listen to mostly talk radio and trucking radio XM 171.

I do go over and listen to 60's and 70's sometimes when I get tired of hearing the same old thing. Usually happens around Friday afternoon.

The cb at a low volume and I make mp3 discs of music I like. They range from oldies to blues to rock to metal to fusion jazz. I don't own a satellite radio and honestly don't want one. It's just another unneeded expense for me.

I like listening to satelite radio (prime country, highway, and nashville)

When that isn't available I listen to either my mp3 player plugged into the auxillary plug of the deck or cd's I keep with me

iPod and CB, most the time. Other than that, my head unit has a direct aux connect, so I will plug my laptop in sometimes and listen to podcasts on iTunes.

Talk radio, am only...I can't stand fm...I don't like the mainstream format of fm radio...
I'm kinda like the guy above who likes to tune into faint out of the way am channels at night...reminds me of when I was a kid and at night on the am radio you would thrill at the sound of broadcasts from distant lands...(which was probablly simply the next state over)....

Listening to music on the radio while I drive...depresses me...it just reminds me of times gone by...you can only re live that stuff for so long...
