Classic Rock, if its available, WBBM AM in Chicago for traffic reports, Country, Christian Rock, then talk if it's available. In some areas you get buy, sell, and trade programs on most stations most of the morning, then I turn it off.

cb always low but on for safety, then since I have an mp3 player in this truck I drive now have over 100 gospel songs, southern rock and traditional, you will be surprised how this type of music relaxes you. I don't often go to church but I do love God,and I know he keeps us safe. i don't force it on my cb to other folks though, time and place for everything in life. I also love oldies and country and sean hannity show.

Personally, Rock/ classic will always be first, but I find I'm actually liking some newer stuff, such as incubus, eveanesence (ok I like them, doesn't mean I know enough to spell their name correctly! lol) Godsmack surprising quite a few, and of course there's always country. -

I'm all over the place. Don't have sat radio, but when i get on the road that'll probably change. MOST commercial radio sux for the obvious reason. The worst I've ever heard is NPR "news". It does however come in handy when i can't sleep, the best white noise out there. I like some talk radio; the car guys sometimes, prarie home companion always, Clark Howard (personal finance), WTMJ 62am Milwaukee (daytime). Shrill political discussion gets no play w/ me. Hannity's so predictable, it's actually kinda funny.
Music... I like whatever's the freshest usually, whatever the category. I like that one show on NPR that features newer artists such as The Brazillian Girls, Thievery Corporation and such. The last few years or so I've really developed an an appreciation for chill-out, trip-hop, down-tempo, whatever ya call it. Artists like Massive Attack, Bent, Portishead, etc. Very relaxing, sometimes erotic, and it just kinda carries me along. But like I said, I'm all over the place. Also enjoy punk, grunge, one hit wonders, rockability, (haven't lived until ya hear The Country Side of Jim Reeves, particularily "Yonder comes a sucker"), Some spoken word is refreshing. Emo-rock ("Mad World by Michael Andrews, "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt). I'd love to go on, but this is Trucker's report, not Rolling Stone.
Radio station? my fav is WMSE 91.7fm Milwaukee. Goood diversity of styles with limited commercial interuption, (except for the fund drives, as this is a college station). It's also archived at wmse.org, so ya can pick yer favorite show from the past 24 months or so and play it with ff/rew functions. (works well in conjunction with a burner too.) -
I usually listen to heavy metal. Give me some Iron Maiden, and I'll be ready to roll.
