I like FLD's but that one has been monkeyed with a little bit too much for my liking. All the Puerto Rican port rats in Elizabeth NJ will be jealous and want to steal it though lol.

Looks exactly like that's what the previous owner did with that headache rack on there. This is a pretty spartan bare bones freightliner that's strictly business. Not sure why anyone would get lead in their pencil to own it but to each their own I guess. Would be really goofy pulling van, reefer, container etc. It's probably only worth about $8,000 give or take but Shelby Elliot thinks everything he has is gold.

That truck looks clean and taken care of. The truck is a fairly local truck and was built with that long frame for one reason, to haul 60ft+ steel beams out of Nucor in Blytheville, AR. This set up is very common around there, allowing front over hang. Makes hauling over length freight legal without permits or curfews. Seriously doubt you get it for 10k. Truck is worth more then that specially in that area so close to the Nucor plant.

That makes a lot of sense. If the OP plans to pull similar freight it's already set up properly. It's not a good choice for pulling a box.

The ecm will read actual miles(assuming it hasn't been changed or was changed and the old ecm info was transferred into it like it should be)

The rates got cut on those loads so bad that you'd have to be a fool to buy a truck designed to pull out of nucor. And id bet a dollar that's exactly how it ended up in shelby mystuffisworthmorethangold elliots lot.

Well there is definitely no shortage of fools lining up to haul out of Nucor judging by all the stretched out trucks pulling beams north bound on I57 in Illinois. Some "fool" will buy it. They even line up to pull the over length rebar out of Nucor in Kankakee with those stretched trucks.

People line up for miles to pull cans out of Miami for 90 cpm. The amount of guys doing something has zero bearing on how good of a rate it is.

It is easy to make them look clean and well cared for in pictures. Pictures almost never tell the true story of a truck.
