hey all. I wanted to touch on a topic that haven't really seem much info on yet. I am looking to buy my own truck, the company that I work for wants way too much for a lease, plus I really don't see the purpose of paying for something that you won't own in 3 or 4 years anyways. My question is this:
What expenses are there to owning a truck? not including the cost of fuel, tolls, basic living expenses or maintenance/repair costs?? I am more interested in the permits, plates, tractor insurance. I know I am missing some things but thats why I am asking this. What am I missing?? And what does the average run for all of these different things??
thanks in advance!!!
what does it cost to operate a truck??

I have been doing research my self. This is what I have found out. Each and every person has their own cost to run a truck, or should I say everyone not equal in the cost of running a truck. Insurance will vary, BasePlates vary, your fuel burning will be different than the next guy. So there is no straight answer.
Someone either on here or on another forum had posted these 2 sites. Both are good to find out your cost.
