I was lucky enough to be rolling down I80 thru Ohio last January superbowl weekend & the game was on in the truckers' lounge

running hard to me is bugging my dispatcher and burning my 70 in 7days driving 10hours a dayand logging only minimum required on duty time for things like pre trip and loading/unloading/fueling. my 34 is currently my "weekends off" which magicaly i almost always end up at the terminal(i live 10mins from terminal) with 3-5hours on my 70 and not gaining enough hours to justify running me.

I think a lot of hard working truckers go through the same thing. I tried the qual com thing for about 6 months. And found I was more tired when I was forced to work. I had to switch companies, or I was going to kill myself or worse, someone else. -
that's not real smart, remember the only true path is the Psycho Path,....you have to sneak up on them

I bet your blow up doll caught hell!

Just don't put her in the passenger seat and other drivers won't know.
Giggles the Original and Logan76 Thank this. -
190,000 miles as a solo, huh? Your the reason EOBR's are coming for everyone
-
LOL, You got that right. Long story short, I went back to a loose leaf company. Back to something I was familiar and compfortable with. Driving when I'm awake, and sleeping when I'm sleepy.Logan76 Thanks this.

That sounds like something a trainer would teach you.
I drive when I'm awake, and sleep when I'm sleepy. You can't get more safe than that.
BTW, 2 log book tickets in 10 years. -
I run legal when I can. If I'm bored as a fence and nothing for entertainment, I'm gonna drive til I'm tired.
-
What else can you do? Sit there until you're tired? By then you've got legal hours to drive again, but are too tired to do so. LOL< then your dispatcher thinks you're lazy.Logan76, 25(2)+2 and -insert name- Thank this.
