well well, doing my tax preparation today, kinda a rough draft to see wher i stand before all the tax documents start coming in and i was going through logs and found some old practical mileage data from march to june so lets see what i can come up with here in the next post.

these are all of the comparisons i could make with the data i had that matched.
pm are in bold ans hhg are on left. pay comparison done at.35cpm vs.37cpm

    eden-randolph,ma=709,750 dif=(41 mi)
    $diff= 262.33,262.50
    versailles,ct-trenton=762,804 dif=(42mi)
    $281.94,$281.40
    trenton-eden=448,472 (24mi)
    $165.76,$165.20
    niagrafalls-hartford,wi=670,691 (21mi)
    $247.90,$241.85
    richfield-rochester,ny=700,723 (23mi)
    $259.00,$253.05

this i a VERY limited comparison but using these 5 trips i made $1216.93 on hhg and $1204.00 on PM. so at first glance i made $12.93 more on 5 trips with hhg but when i figure 5cpm for hitting the 3k mark i have to add $0.05 by the extra miles i got with pm: 151 mi x.05=$7.55. So in reality I made $5.38 (12.93-7.55) more on 5 trips under the hhg plan.

Sorry I couldnt have matched more data as this is hardly "moving" data or conclusive but I'm sure some of the other Millis drivers will start kicking in some data.
Hope this effort on my part is helpful and worthwhile.

    PS
For those that are thinking of helping with this comparison a tip to make it easier I just copied the data from my 2 earlier trip posts into my new post and went down the list addin PM in Bold then deleted the trips i didnt have comparisons for. This should make it a lot easier administratively. in fact ill copy them in the next post so you can copy from there and not have to search through the pages to find it. Thanks.

Repost to help others copy data for comparison:

Remember this is loaded miles only because mt miles would be another variable from trip to trip. Only help in comparison if you have seperated out your loaded miles and anyone can contribute all you have to do is start recording your trips today if you have not in the past. Thanks!

Mine are in Bold - sorry I couldnt get more my eyes are starting to cross.

Also - you have two trips between Atlanta and Trenton listed yet you have two different milage quotes? Which one is correct?

Ha! HA! I know the feeling of eyes crossing. I would say the 472 was the correct # as I dont have the data in front of me. Thanks for the update brother!

I'll do money calculations assuming 5cpm mileage bonus as it is common to get regular, just remember that on weeks its 4cpm or less there is a lesser gap but except when I went home i had no problem getting 3k from july -november. so again using 35 cpm on pm and .37 for hhg + 5cpm for both

atlanta-trenton=472........493 $1.04 in favor of HHG.
    eden-randolph,ma=709.......750 $2.22 PM
    trenton-eden=448.......472 $0.64 PM
    trenton-richfield=383.......411 $3.54 PM
trenton-c'ville,ga=450........442 $12.20 HHG (not sure about this 450?)
waco-w.allis=1096...............1101 $19.92 HHG ( this one i am sure about because I remember the actual miles driven were more than 50 mi less than the paid. kinda stood out. :) )

remember i'm using 2nd yr pay straight pay scale and the lower your cpm is the higher percentage 2cpm is. ie. 2/29cpm=6.896% vs 2/42=4.761%

Whitey, You're up Man. Thanks in advance!

Looks like we are splitting hairs between the two. Has anyone considered (and corrrect me if i'm wrong), practical miles will help a driver reach the performance thresholds quicker?

I'm on practical, I can't say there is a real difference. For the performance bonus, have never been close enough to worry never had like a 3006 week or a 2504 week.

    Hegemeister Thanks this.
