You might be surprised...I recently had a lengthy conversation with a KAG driver who's involved with their food-grade division.

He had positive things to say about them. Some food accounts had very good pay.

I think in truth it depends on the terminal in question.

Some have good management. Others....not so much.

Look im in SoCal and i dont mean to make this a back and forth because your being nice and helping me. but.
Im telling you. Every guy there ONLY stays there because you can get the hours.(but KAG doesnt pay the best but not the worst either) but everything else there is bad. Im telling you I know. Now where im at whats bad is Their very strict about too much and the camera issue sucks etc.
But they maintain the equipment. KAGs equipment is Poor to say the least and their
    teminals/managment/dispatchers are notoriously horrible.
believe me on this I already know ;-)

You might like working at Heniff in Walnut. It's all hourly local, optional to do occasional overnights. Pay is 35/hr with stop pay and ot etc. It's all ecolab M-F dedicated multicompartment. I enjoyed the work while I was out there, different customers different products. You might go to a commercial laundry, a dairy, and a brewery all in the same day, with each getting a different product.
