I think cargo claims may be on a DAC as well. Can’t remember

Best of luck..let us know! -
I have no direct knowledge a carrier will place a note about a cargo claim or not. I doubt they will in the average case. The reason is cargo claims really are handled by other depts. I do think though that if a driver is reckless and develops a history of causing them, they stand a good chance of being fired. Then this will be in that carriers records and might find its way into a notation in DAC.

Carrier does not need to send any proof. They ask the carrier if the information is correct and if they say it is the information stays on the report. There is no investigation of any kind.
Yes, if you can prove otherwise you can sue, I successfully sued a credit card issuer and the credit reporting agency both, and won. But getting an attorney that specializes in that kind of thing is difficult.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
They don't even ask you what happened, they just read a report and go from there. It usually black and white knee-jerk submissions for any incident.
You can dispute a false report if you contact them.
I think people usually advise working for some place that doesn't care about DAC.G13Tomcat Thanks this.
