I forgot one. I would do a disservice to everyone, by forgetting. (See how that goes?)

Dixie Home McLean IL. If you want good eating, I hope they still remember how to cook up there.

I used to stop at a place in Oregon on the i5 exit 86. Is called Heaven on Earth Restaurant. Had pretty good food and some giant cinnamon rolls.

Were they bigger than that on cinnamon roll place they have in some truck stops?

I would say to my self iif a driver ate one of those. They would fall out before they made it back to the truck

Been years since I been down there, but the BBQ lady
    In wildwood was the best.
She had the place all to herself for years,
Then one day there was another food truck next
To hers, and she wasn't too happy about it either.

That was the last time I was there, didn't know she
    Finally moved on.

BBQ place in front of the Petro in Oak Grove, MO. I-70 exit 28.

Also the Flying J at I-77 exit 100 in Mt. Airy NC has a good homestyle restaurant with a really good buffet.

That little shack at the Oak Grove Petro is amazing! Better than any so-called Texas BBQ I've been too. Way better!

To me Texas style bbq is just grilled meat. Instead of slow smoked like the Carolinas, Memphis style, or KC style
