Cajun claws I-10 exit 92 in LA

Live music and good seafood, across the road from the loves. Or right behind the shop right truck stop. Place stays packed for crawfish season.

Not crazy about Soulman's, but KC is the shiznit! Fall off the bone, excellent sauce, great beans and slaw.

Gary, Indiana, exit 6, little shack on the side street by the TA called Mutha Truckn Kabobs. Takeout only, best to call ahead.

Also there's a little hut in the rest area as you come into Texas from Arkansas, has some darn decent alligator sausage.

That hut is in the rest area itself? On I 30 at Texarkana? We go into Texarkana for something every couple weeks but as being locals we don't ever go into the rest area. Don't see gator sausage around here much except at the fairs and haven't had a fair since Covid.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the first rest area across the state line westbound on i30 in Texas, there's several buildings lined up and the last one is a restaurant hut. I seem to recall it's an odd setup where there's a side street behind it where cars can also get to it from the back without using the interstate.

Resized_20221013_131312.jpeg This place in Gary, In has some great Philly cheese steaks. Or chicken Philly's they are flavorful and I promise you will eat it all. Unlike that place thats at some truckstops called Charley's. Those sandwiches are just a waste of money.

They are across the street from the Gary TA. Thank me later.

There's a little shack in the Petro parking lot that serves some kind of Serbian hamburgers. Highly recommend
