What freezer or refrigerator do you have in your truck, and how do you run it.

This is what I use. Very happy. Had a dorm style fridge and got tired of food freezing when it was cold outside.

In one truck I have the factory fridge with the tiny freezer. It’s meh at best. In the other truck, which didn’t come with a fridge, it has a 4 cu ft 2 door dorm style fridge running off the inverter. It’s much easier to bring enough food for the week in the freezer. The down side is it’s not as energy efficient as the factory fridge so it works the batteries harder and requires more engine recharging. With $15 fast food, and $3 sodas, a $1000 fridge would pay for itself in no time, not to mention the healthier eating that’s possible.

Update: My company made me put the passenger seat back in. Kinda upset. So I bought two Iceco's a Jp40 and Jp50. I repurposed my Snomaster. These Iceco's work. And they are actually what I'd recommend to drivers. That Snomaster is heavy. These are relatively light. And in a truck with environmentals going. I doubt they live a hard life. 20230511_171958.jpg

I just put a Truckfridge TF86 in my truck. Haven't been out on the road yet to put it to the test.

Got tired of the dorm fridge compressor rattling on bumpy roads.

As ridgeline said, no its not illegal, or even uncommon to remove the passenger seat, BUT, this guy is a company driver, that is what makes the difference, I would be quite grumpy if an employee altered a vehicle without permission especially since i have no idea if they stored the probably near 500-1000$ seat properly, and lets say he quits, am I going to get that back or not?

Youve got to view company vehicles essentially as rentals that they are going to make the money on by reselling at the end, so you dont get to alter or trash them
