What freezer or refrigerator do you have in your truck, and how do you run it.

I'm running a BougeRV ~50qt, off Amazon ~$300. Ordered because of size, it's narrow enough to fit between seats and still have room to get to bunk. The space between the seats and bunk is already used for storage cabinets. Joys of having a small bunk on a carhauler.

I don't cook in the truck, i just use it as a fridge, but it will freeze if needed. As a fridge, it will run for 3 or 4 days on eco before the battery protection turns it off. Currently at 2 years with no issues.

Supposedly the small section works like a fridge with the big part frozen, but never tried that.

I’d mainly use it as a freezer. Already have a nice little cascadia fridge just no freezer room in it. I say I should bring meals from home. Would be healthier and cheaper. At end of day much easier to pay truck stop food.
