What gear ratio is generally used for hauling a D11 bulldozer?

And they don’t haul them assembled on the road. It becomes cheaper to disassemble and reassemble than it is to move a 20’ wide 250,000 pound load. Especially if it’s going far.

There was a D11 sitting at a dealership in Harvey, IL, no dozer on it. Also D9 and D10 with dozers. Dealership was sold but a small area kept where the D11 sat for quite awhile.
I've seen D9 outside dozer units moved assembled, but that took a tandem tractor with a lift axle and a 4 axle drop deck. Also permitting aplenty and forget county blacktop roads until the frost was gone. Inside dozer used to push scrapers was easier to move. The above rig is fairly common to see anymore. -

Don't even disassemble 797s to move them out here. Before anyone says "its a dirt road" they just turned off the pavement about 500 feet before the curve.
