I see lots of CHEAP daily dry van partials from the East coast to Strasburg, ND. What in the world is going there? And why would someone take it?

Not sure myself, seen something going into Montana like that. My road atlas does not show one horse towns 1k away from log cabins.

We did good to wiliston,nd flatbed with pipes from tx. Food, clothes etc was very expensive there. Maybe that is a warehouse of some sort to distribute to the oil towns.

Perhaps, but I'm just curious why all the partials instead of making them multi-pick single drop loads...

Maybe two partials dont fit into a trailer. If I have 27 feet of freight and you have 27 feet of freight it wont fit in a 53' trailer.

If they're going up cheap, they're not getting anything out that pays.

One problem I had when calling on the freight to ND/MT is I always heard the same thing "That's a backhaul for locals that live up there." Which is why it was $1/mi.

What ever it is it has little to nothing to do with the oil fields. there is a city between it and the oil field. At least a city for ND.

Wrecked/damaged vehicles courtesy of Hurricane Sandy.

They are being picked up at Copart Auto Auctions and various other Auto Auctions. Vehicles are being purchased daily hence the LTL listing.
