I am particularly fond of Volvos, especially their 780 series. Anyone out there know who are running Volvos today?
I've been off for a couple of years and thinking of getting back into trucking. I am not fond of Freightliner, especially the light weight ones - noisy and hard running buggers..=*^)
Any feed back would be great - don't matter too much where they haul, except no new York..
Thanks,
Chris
What good companies out there run Volvos?

Swift runs volvos.

Yes, and I guess Knight also...
Eons ago I was a dedicated driver (the first in Swift) and a driver trainer for them. They treated me pretty good as long as I was on the dedicated run but if for some reason you were out of the control of the usual dispatch areas as it were in those days (early 90's) you got messed with...
And I truly hate doubles...=*^)
Thanks for the come back

US Xpress promised me a Volvo, runs out west, and best pay in the industry. I drive a Frieghtshaker Century mainly east of the Mississippi for $0.34 cents per mile on average. I found this post while searching for Ashley. They have nice looking Volvos. Where would I go to inquire about working for them. I see their trucks on the road all the time, but never have a chance to speak with the drivers.
