Second vote for both R Place in Morris, IL and Dixie in McLean, IL.

Adding the Winchester in Edgerton, WI and that tiny little bullhauler haven in the Minneapolis, MN area. Can't remember the name or location, but I bet I could find it by just following my nose. Crappy looking little place, tiny lot with too many trucks and school buses, but my God the food was good!

Oh man! You reminded me of a place on Rt 206 in Chester NJ. It was called Ray's diner (one if those tiny old time stainless steel diners). I was just a kid, back in the 50's but, every once in awhile my dad and I would jump in his wrecker and go there fo lunch. The best seats in the house were right behind the grill. Ray was a comic and he cooked up the best food and handled everything himself. He kept people laughing and it was the truckers favorite. Small dirt lot, full of pot holes and trucks. I'm hungry just thinking about the place.

I've had the special at the Tomahawk 4 times.

Twice it was spaghetti, and twice tacos.
Who knows, maybe that's all they have LOL.

But it was good, and the coffee is very good too.
