What happened to "real" restaurants at truckstops? What stops still have them?

Binghams in Lenox pa off I-81 about 25 min north of Scranton. Awesome food, truck parking and their pie is to die for. Few miles up the road is Penn can diner with plenty of truck parking. Killer food also

That's not all the reasons. There used to be a older 76 near Toledo with several other stops also with eating areas that was particularly good. It's a interesting meal time when you have a covey of waitresses making small talk on break at your table and several of us drivers.

For a while there was a real possibility of getting a formal relationship started and possibly raise a bunch of kids after marrying one of these pretties. Not only they were beautiful but they were very good with us being able to understand what we deal with daily.

That 76 has been closed for years. But the memories combined with what was possible running out of there as far as living in NW Ohio was a possibility in my life. I think I ultimately decided not to do so because you cannot raise a child properly in trucking being always gone. It's also a fast way to bust up a marriage sticking the spouse with child care all the time.
