What happened to "real" restaurants at truckstops? What stops still have them?

The service is so good at King City, she took my plate before I could photo the empty.

Excellent burger. Seasoned fries. REALLY GOOD coffee, and exceptional service.

 

They close at 10pm. Last time I was there Google maps said 11pm. I was not happy. I just wanted a milkshake. It was 100 degrees at night.

 

Yes still there.

 

They make an outstanding breakfast burrito there.

Between great falls and Billings Montana I had many a dinner and glass of Beer there

 

Its a shame the county wont let them fix it up. Once bills closes down there can be no more truck stops in the county

 

Very nice place to eat. On weekends you might find it hard to find a seat. The locals flock to it. But if you're in the neighborhood you'd be hard pressed to beat the food and the service.

 

Wilton Travel Plaza and the Scotty's restaurant are as close to any "Old World Truckstop" as you will get. They treat you with respect, a smile and the best service you will find anywhere. They offer plenty of parking, a scale, fuel pumps and a service garage along with down home cooking. They are partial to real world truckdriver courtesy and will let you know it. I always stop when in this part of NY state.
