Mpgs can make quite a bit of difference to the bottom line. But its just one part of the equation. Lots of other parts make just as big, if not bigger, difference to the bottom line.

I just had some real stacks put on my truck this winter along with front bumper and sun visor. Im just a triaxle dump truck owner but what do you think. the before picture was from a few months ago and with only one pipe which bothered me. I chopped the cab protector to allow for straights. Also had the cat worked a little so im gettin smoke now
TheyCallMeDave, MACK E-6 and LateNightCable Thank this. -
Looks a lot better. The visor and lights in the breathers really makes a truck look good.
MACK E-6 Thanks this. -

Maybe we should install a wind turbine behind the drivers seat. -
Trouble is solar costs about $1 per watt installed now days. You'll discover that solar technology is over a century old when you cut through all the lies and BS. It actually originated and was first used during the dog eat dog era of telegraph, Thomas Edison, robber Barons and so forth! The technology is so mature the cost should be around 10 cents a watt or lower, inflation adjusted! The big energy players have done "buy and kill" takeovers, very carefully covered up, on most solar manufacturers that get too competitive. Wind energy is in the same boat.

Wind and solar will never replace coal or natural gas for reliability alone, if you'd take the government money out of wind they'd stop building them yesterday, last I heard they were paying landowners 11 grand a year per turbine whether it turns or not. My point was they like their pet wind and solar projects to "not use oil" and a lot of petroleum goes into making them and hauling them around -
