Even if you don't pay it....nothing is really gonna happen, they will put it on your credit.
It's not like they are going to bother suing you either.
What happens if someone goes to company sponsored CDL school, and then quits?

One other thing to consider, when the new bankruptcy laws went into affect it changed the tax burden on loans written off. With banks anyway, I am not sure if this would be available to the company who tecnichally finances your loan, but now when when bank writes off a bad loan, at least a bad credit card, lest say, $4,000, they notify the IRS and you will get a notice from them that that is now considered earned income in which ever year the financial institution wrote it off, and you will owe the tax on it.
Again not sure if that would apply in a situation like this, bit it does with unsecured credit write offs for banks and financial institutions. -
A trucking company can't take your CDL.
If you go to a company sponsored CDL school, and then don't like the company, look at the big picture. In 12 months you can leave debt free and with 1 year OTR experience. Sometimes that's the cost to reach your goal, but it works.
Check these CDL company schools:
JBS Carriers
Knight
Swift
Prime Inc.
