Last time I went into a scale in TX overweight I told the trooper to go f himself, got into a fist fight with him then I handcuffed him to the guardrail coming into the scale in his undies.
What happens if you are overweight?

In Oklahoma you have to pay the fine on the spot. But then your ticket is your overweight permit for the load.
Texas overweight tickets are expensive and they like to make you unload or reload. But unless you’re going south of San Antonio I wouldn’t worry about it.truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
This is what the load normally is.

Run it. Don't speed and you won't even get looked at. I just came out of OKC yesterday, although I went S to SA before coming out here to Midland. DPS isn't messing with any trucks right now as far I can tell. We're all just out here trying to survive.
As for a good route, OKC to Lawton to Wichita Falls (you can bypass WF by going west through Haynesville, go S on 25 to Electra and continue on that to 277) take 277 all the way to Snyder and 350 to Big Spring, hit 20 and you're home free.truckdriver31 and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -
