Nowadays, you are subject to being thrown into a lake of fire while other drivers cast lots for your belongings in your truck!!

I would have made it on time if my dispatcher didn't BS me.

I've gone over a couple times.

I'll add a note saying I had to find a safe haven to park.
No one has ever said anything to me about it, so I guess the note was enough.

I'm sure if it happens too often I'll have to answer for it.

This actually points out what is the big b s deal about elogs. What will happen is that your safety people will change your logs so that they no longer show you in violation of anything. They will slap you on the wrist and tell you bad dog but nothing will come of it. By changing your logs the company is falsifying a federal document. But nothing is said about that. Log books record you doing something illegal. By making you fill out a log book correctly and admitting you are doing something illegal a log book violates your fifth amendment rights. So why do we log? We log to protect ourselves from being overworked. What you should have done was when you got over 9 hours in was to look for a place to sleep and delivered in the morning. As long as you run your a s s off companies will underpay you. I only work 8 hours a day. I guarantee I am making more then any company driver out there. Be safe and make money.

The new proposal may put an end to that though.

To be resistant to tampering by
protecting both input and output. It
    would have identified any amendments
or annotations of the record, including
    who made them and when.

Okay, now you are going to have to explain the New Proposal. I have a good friend who is the head of the House Committee on Transportation. Keep me up to date on things.
