what happens when your License expires and you go to renew it, or when you go to renew your license with your endorsements, do you need to retest for the endorsements? or are they renewed with your CDL?

As long as you don't actually let the license expire and renew it before that date, you just pay to renew the endorsements as well.
I don't actually know what happens if you let it expire. Might be you just pay to renew. I've never let mine lapse and always just paid a couple bucks extra to renew everything. -
I think the thing to do is not let a CDL expire. The rest is sort of irrelevant. But I have a feeling you'd have to start over from scratch if this were to be the case.
tscottme, rabbiporkchop and CrappieJunkie Thank this. -
You have to redo the Hazmat but the others are fine. But if you are worried about having to retake the endorsements maybe you shouldn't have them.
Panhandle flash, rabbiporkchop, Bob Dobalina and 1 other person Thank this. -
Not saying its the same everywhere but in TN if you let it expire, you have to retest for everything according to their driving manual.rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

you get to be the lucky one, to pay it all over again, and take all the tests all over again. no discounts for former license holders.

Dont forget to do your self certification, if not they can suspended and eventually revoke your cdl status..
