wrong again!! you are confusing "right to work" with "at will employment". and werner doesnt care, they are just happy that i made their badly scheduled appt time. no company in their right mind is going to fire someone for following hos LAWS.

you are confusing "right to work" and "at will employment", like the other guy did.

right to work states dont require you to pay union dues while working for a union shop. right to work states, as well as union shop states, are both full of "at will" employers.

at will employment means either employer OR employee have the right to terminate employment at any time, for any reason, or no reason at all. HOWEVER, if they make the mistake of firing you for certain reasons, then its illegal, and they will owe you a lot of money....

Since I'm no longer under a load I use personal conveyance and drive on over to my preferred parking area.

I would fire me if i did that. Some people have a terrible work ethic and deserve the worst life has to offer.

It's as easy as this sport: you pull a stunt like that and they will say "your services are no longer needed. Thanks".

    Cranky Yankee Thanks this.

what dont you get? i did it, not all the time, but if a load needed to be there, and i dont know if there is parking at the cons or not, im going to get it there. the company KNEW my hours available, and delivery time.

all of you are risking a lot more than you realize, moving your truck after 14 hours.

and once again, werner didnt fire me, and i did it a few times. you guys realize that a company like us foods, yrc, or conway will FIRE you for violating the HOS, right?

once AGAIN, i did it a few times, it was never an issue. better jobs, like i said, will FIRE you for violating ANY HOS laws. they know where im at, and my hours available. its their call to reschedule or NOT. but your experience is showing, ill just let you try and reschedule your companies load, and let you find out what they think about that...

as for the comment about what i "deserve"? very christian of you....
