Do any of you all ever call mega carriers to cover a load ?
6wheeler Thanks this. -
My reply is "My business is called _____" -
I see the megas as competition just like other brokers.
EDIT: To clarify I think my job is literally to virtualize my very own mega carrier. I own none of the equipment, but if I can use it to accomplish what needs accomplished from the customers perspective what's the difference? Does anyone here think the megas 'own' stuff in the same way you do? No... that's why they do lease purchase deals with everyone who will buy one, and why they have giant revolving credit lines.Feedman, 6wheeler, bigguns and 1 other person Thank this. -

No offense guys, but a lot of people on this forum pretend to be conservatives until they want the government to do something for them. Then suddenly they are crying about how much better things were before deregulation.
Either believe in free markets or don't. If you want the government to replace freight brokers take a long hard look at what doing business with the government is actually like.PPNLE, SL3406, Ruthless and 1 other person Thank this. -

As far as deregulation. Anyone that thinks things were better when freight markets were regulated obviously wasn't around then.Last edited: Dec 8, 2017

"The government needs to fix my problem!"
That's the battle cry of socialism.
#### that; if I have a problem, I'll #### well solve it my self.boredsocial, spyder7723 and Feedman Thank this.
