His brakes were clearly working, he just used them too much. Not sure how stopping at the brake check area would solve that. Maybe they need a Jake brake check area?

Hold on, here, I see flames in the middle of the trailer, and would stuck brakes do this much damage? I say total BS here,,

If the driver had stopped at the inspection area like HE WAS REQUIRED TO DO, the fire may have been avoided. His brakes may have been out of adjustment,which may have led up to a thermal event.Last edited: Apr 25, 2023

Jake brake = good.
No Jake brake = bad.
Lower gear on hill = good.
High gear on hill = bad. -
All the more reason to stay out of California
