When you are in the truck stop getting your paperwork faxed buy a $3.00 clipboard and keep your load paperwork on it. It will also make you look more professional when you get signatures upon delivery.
What happens when you get pulled over and you dont have a bill of lading on you?

Hey, I just finished reading another thread where the SAME guy lost the bills for the SAME load!
I'm sorry if I wasn't "touchy feely" enough for you but this guy needs a good solid kick in the ### to get him to remember this!
That piece of paper that he so carelessly leaves everywhere but where it should be is how the truck gets paid for what it does.
If he drove for me, I'd already be on a plane to wherever the truck is to finish the job myself and get him home and send him down the road! -
carry a few blank bill of ladings with you. you should have most of the info you would need to fill it out. you'll learn a lot as you go, so don't let it get to you. good luck and just get yourself into a routine that works for you. there's a lot going through your head right now, but just try and relax and you'll do ok.

best option is the fax--maybe ask your boss why he didnt give it back to you---put the blame on him---might help
hmmm just wait till you are hauling ltl with say---10 drops and all the border clearences for them---now that 4 inches of paper you dont want to mix up
just take it easy---get a big clipboard that flips open--then you can keep your logbook and your bol's all together
ummm you didnt lose your log book as well did you? -
Just tell the diesel cop your empty and mash on it.

now if he loses it a THIRD time.......lol....... -
