what have you had stolen off your rig?

I once had my truck parked at a shop in Elizabethtown,NJ. I left the truck
and stayed at a hotel over the weekend. Got a call that my driver side window
was busted out and I should come check it out. At first I freaked out I had $500
worth of cb stuff, playstation 3, 19 inch flat screen tv, a bunch of nice stuff. So
I made my way to the shop and found out he stole the change in my ashtray
and that's it. Got lucky I suppose.

 

I used to park my truck at the location that I'm dedicated out of and have had all my securement stolen twice. Had the chrome lug nut and hub caps stolen once. This is a secured lot. Have to go thru a gate to get in so I know it was another company driver that did it or one of the other carriers. I now park in front of my house.

 

Had one center cap from my steers stolen at the Iowa 80 truck stop. In broad daylight. LOL

 

My Christmas gift in 2008 was the removal of my tailgate on my Toyota in Mira Loma. I was on a Swift trainer truck at the time. This happened in a supposedly guarded lot. Still haven't replaced it..

 

Had 3 ribs stolen during the night from my loaded 53' reefer.

 

Had 2 load locks stolen from the TA in napoleon OH..............Napoleon OH! In Amarillo Tx,not sure which truckstop had somebody try to cut thru my trl lock in three different places but that hefty f###er kept them out! Still use that same lock today,great lock,good times..............

 

Had a baby seat stolen out of trailer at redlight in Atlanta. It was a regular run, and they wouldn't ever attempt it again....not sure why? Can't say I had treble hooks boobytrapped to the latches or anything--that would be cruel.

 

I had a load out of the port Long beach, CA going to NY, GSXR bikes 45 of them. droped the trl in USX yard in Oklahoma City for a team to take in. In USX's own yard with a guard they let a O/O in and he picked the trl and headed to mexico. NEVER RECOVERED

 

When we worked at Werner we had 150 gallons of fuel stolen over 5 weeks during the highest prices. At the same truck stop over and over, but I cannot remember where it was. I think Kansas City.

Aside from that have had nothing stolen yet, but I am paranoid. And if a lizard ever got in my truck I'd call the police and report her as trying to steal my truck.

 

I have only had 1 thing stolen from my truck! MY SANITY!
