I'm on DCS currently and have been doing better than most of the other solos I've talked with.
If you communicate well about your ETAs and available HOS are a safe conscientious driver and transflo paper work in a timely fashion you'll probably do better than most here.
Also I'm very pleased with my health insurance costs and benefits as well as the 401k with match.
The big variable will be what FM you get and how well you respect each other. If you get a good FM and you do your job you can do well. Get a bad FM and ....... then all bets are off.
My FM was out for most of this week and I got a fill in. The result: 1500mi, my worst week by a long shot since early December. I think its the first time this year I didn't break 2k for the week. (of course in all fairness I was home Friday)
What have you heard or experience with J.B. Hunt . . .

Hey went to work for JB out of Detoit area went OTR. It was a trainging thing for the 1st 3 months with them, (got so lucky, my trainer as an awesome woman with 20 years driving experiene!) the pay wasn't too bad either. I then was out on my own & had a terrible first FM, was about to quit after months of only getting 1600-1800 miles, remind you i was making 42 cpm, but I was BORED!!! So just about the time I was gonna hand in my keys, the Fm got fired n this guy named Dustin became my FM, at first I had to prove myself to him that not only could I run but that I would never let him down! Before I knew it, I was running out hours every week using my 34 hour reset!! He was great, but it takes two!! You have to be willing to prove yourself combined with pushing and pushing your FM to give you more!! I always pushed the envelope without breaking the laws & dont have a mark on my DAC yet!! (Knock on wood!!) Anyhow, I got injured, n still orking in physical therapy to get back in a truck, JB was definitely a GREAT experience for me!! 2 years worth!! Good Luck!!

I've never worked for JB, so take this with the proverbial grain o' salt...
I've NEVER seen any trucking company run down on truckstop bathroom walls the way JB Hunt is... not even Swift or Werner. Go figure!
