    My fiancee has been working for Werner for almost a month. He had a day where he was legit sitting at the DC for the whole day waiting for a load. Now they have him doing a safety orientation and he is confused on why they didn't do this while he was at the DC. I know they just got a new safety head at the DC. Is it strictly for getting to know the new head or is there possibly more to it? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I am just trying to figure out how to best support him at the moment.

    Lol I am starting to understand that. I do understand there is protocol and possible meetings. In addition, to them simply wanting to introduce the new head of safety. But due to the randomness and how confused the fiancee was. I was preparing myself for anything and make sure to support him in the way he needs.

    From my experience most trucking companies are staffed by ex-drivers. These companies haven't figured out ex-drivers probably aren't qualified for many of these office jobs but their the only ones willing to accept the low wage. Chaos is the result.
