If you'll read my comments you'll see that I was speaking of the three Swift drivers featured in that video, not about all Swift drivers in general. And yes I do consider them as safe drivers. Well except for driver two. The only safe thing he did was get out and let driver three park his truck. Driver one (and driver two as well) is obviously a rookie and not very experienced. He may not have got his set up right the first time, but he took his time, got out and looked several times, adjusted his positions and backed in safely without hitting anything. What more can you ask for from a rookie? Oh, I forgot. You're one of those super truckers that had it perfect from day one. That's right.

As for your other comment about passing and lane changes and stuff, I see safe Swift trucks going down the road everyday, or parking at truck stops or shippers. What I also see are super truckers passing me in my own lane forcing me on to the shoulder, cutting over inches from my hood again forcing me off the road, slow trucks who speed up as soon as they realize they are being passed by a Swift and then slow down again as soon as I pull back behind them. Are you ####ing kidding me?!? If I pull up on a slow truck, I have just as much right to pass that truck as you do to pass me. And it's my fault that azzhat wants to play games? I know sometimes it's gonna take a while to get around a truck, and like moose said, I will wait until there is minimal traffic coming so as to not restrict traffic too much. Do all Swift drivers do that? No, but then neither do other companies as well.

I've seen other trucks on the road, no headlights when it's getting dark, no headlights when it's raining or snowing, eating a salad or soup or whatever driving down the road, I saw a Prime driver going down the road with his small dog sitting on the steering wheel, I kid you not. Last winter, after a light snow fall, I counted five CEVA trucks slid off the road. Didn't see a single Swift truck crashed. Not saying there wasn't one somewhere, just saying I didn't see one.

Swift may not be the best company on the road, but it definitely isn't the worse.

Yea I went by one on the 40 the other day that blazed. All that was left were the trailer doors laying atop the smoldering heap of wreckage with the Swift logo.

Given the amount of Swift trailers being pulled by other companies this time of year ... very well could've been a UPS contractor.

It could also be a used trailer Swift sold that the new owner hadn't removed the name from yet.

There's one of those at the Border Patrol checkpoint on I-35 north of Laredo . Driver was caught smuggling and got to say adios to his truck and trailer .
