:biggrin_25513::biggrin_25513: i was wating for budweiser to open back up on sat.. sittin in the truck stop i seen a huge wrecker pull in and pull in front of a CRST truck.. being bored out of my mind.. i got out and went over to shoot the #### with the tow trk driverr while talkin to him.. the driver of the truck got out of his truck and didnt even know tht his company had called a tow truck to take the truck or tht they had fired him.

i would not of believed this is i wasnt there to see it for myself.. and talkin to the tow truck driver he was sayin crst told them to get the truck and trailer. and not to let the driver go with ..

I HAVE NOTHIN TO DO WITH CRST neveer have never will.. this completely shocked me. and made me realise i am glad i work where i do.. even if they can be a pain in the backside at times. and i knwo i am apain at times at well.. anyways jsut wanted to share this. truck safe everyone and god bless all:biggrin_25513:

That kind of stuff usually happens when you fail a drug test....they(meaning any bigger company) kick you out on your toots really quick like that.

That sounds about right to me. Having worked for them until fairly recently I know they generally call you in to a terminal to fire you. Beings they called a wrecker sounds like it was an LP driverothewise they just would have let his co driver keep the truck

I have only once kicked a driver out like that or asked the wrecker driver to kick him out.
He had blown a new motor by over revving it about 30 miles from the terminal.
He was as drunk as a lord and when I spoke to him on the phone all he was interested in was his outstanding wages.
When the truck arrived the truck was full of empty beer bottles.

This type of behavior from a company does'nt surprise me one bit in the least. There had to have been something else going on as to why this driver got fired right on the spot. But CRST could have told him hes fired rather then a surprise visit from the tow trk.Like a member said,he probably failed a drug test.

Last thing I would want to do is defend CRST...but they had to ensure he didn't drive that truck. If they let him know he's fired before the wrecker shows up...well who knows what could happen.

You got a point there. The driver could have just taken off,I did'nt think about that.

Well usually they would route to terminal...but I'm sure like a lot of you are saying is he possibly failed a drug test or following perhaps could've happened....

He could've threatened crst to do something with the truck and/or load so therefore made the decision to come hook up take the truck to prevent that from possibly happening.

Might have been one of those times when you type out a Qualcomm message, repleat with (*^$*& and (*$^&$#^, then hit "delete" as a calmer head prevails.

    Only he hit "send"......:biggrin_2556:
