Yes, the Dow opened at 33,800 went up a smidge then dropped to 32185 (Good God almost a thousand Points- How will we ever Survive).
But, here is the rest of the story the PPT (Plunge Protection Team) stepped in, and it is back to a little above its opening price.

The price of AAPL dropped to 156 and it will more than likely will go down to 135 to become a super good value. AAPL does this (lose about 25% of value) about once every two years. Classic shake out for the uncommitted folks of the Cult that is Apple.

Still part of a correction for an overheated market because the fed did not take action over the past year.

5 years ago the Dow was at 20k, The pandemic Panic dropped it back down to that March of 2020. Dow is up over 50% from either of those marks.

My opinion, from history it looks like it should drop another 10% to not be over valued.

Easiest way to look at the market is that guy selling you stuff is more a bookie than a broker.

Don't put any money on any betting table that you can't flush down the commode with no remorse.

 

Since I can not get my truck to float in the air and must park it somewhere and usually every available curb space is taken by Dicky Dry Van. I guess it’s pretty clear now, when parking I take as many spaces as is necessary to keep myself safe - it is unfortunate that it is ok to run into someone’s ####.
