I’ve been doing some deeper research into the evils of high fructose corn syrup. Plain evidence of causing fatty Liver, Hepititis Liver, and even eventually sclerosis. Also is the cause of bad LDL cholesterol plugging arteries. It produces small liptoids that tunnel into arteries. Unlike large liotoids from animal fat that are light and flow through arteries. It’s some wicked stuff, much worse than a high fat diet. Lack of fiber in fast food makes the effect even worse. The sign is high Triglycerides. Big red flag, high LDL cholesterol with high Triglycerides is the recipe for heart attacks.Almost guaranteed. So Were cutting the sugars. Especially high fructose corn sugar. Raising fiber intake. The corn syrup has nowhere to go but the liver. It’s metabolized there. The effect is as bad as high volumes of ethanol, filtered through the liver, but metabolized in the brain, except the corn syrup doesn’t give you a buzz. Just an alcoholic Liver. It’s true. Not some conspiracy theory BS designed to sell supplements. Been going on since the mid 70s. It’s the main reason everyone has gained 20-25 lbs. on avg. since. To make things worse it blocks a hormone that signals the brain that your full. Coke has salt in it to make you thirsty, and lots of corn sugar to hide the salt. I love Coke, but always amazed at how it could hit the spot, and make me want more trying to quench my thirst. Average serving of Coke is up from 6 Oz. Originally to 20oz. Currently. Then there’s the Big Gulp. 1 Coke creates enough fat in the bloodstream as a whole Pizza. And it’s poisonous fat. Mostly small LDL lipoids that burrow into arteries. Actually turns them brown over time. Just like the corn syrup makes the fast food burger brown up, the lack of fiber makes it store longer and cook faster. Without the corn syrup, it would taste like cardboard. Crazy stuff. Too much money involved feeding the world our products. USDA won’t admit that we’ve got it all wrong. Based originally on the 7 Country study in the 70s, low fat diets and foods have been the golden rule, against heart disease. Not true, the added cheap corn syrup is the culprit. It keeps food prices stable. Meanwhile were literally being poisoned. Overloaded with fructose, and sucrose. The only good natural sugar is glucose. The Liver can store an infinity amount without adverse affects. It’s the sugar that gives us real energy and keeps up in good health. Sorry, it’s boring stuff. Worth looking into though.
