In typical for me fashion -- the rain has started again just as the dirt in the yard was almost dry enough to finish moving around and working.

Looks like close to 100% humidity all week so may not get a chance move mud around till Friday.

You are hanging in the Sonoran desert, I'm a tad south of the Olympic Rain Forest. Different ecosystems.

    Different strokes for different folks.

I prefer rain forest and volcanoes over desert and tards from SoCal.

I just had a nice conversation with Keri. She told me something she was withholding from me for some time now. I have stated she is from Maryland and told me about her first high school crush. He is a Physicians' Assistant right now working in a place I rather not say. He never married and spent most of his 20s in school and working. Keri asked me if I was cool with him coming over later tomorrow for dinner. They have started communicating with each other and I am happy to see she is moving on past that monster she was married to. I have always known Keri physically living with me was not going to be forever. She has her life. Guy's, if you could see the difference between Keri today and 6 months ago you would not believe it. She has her mojo back and I am super happy! There is a part of me that tells me I should be sad she will at some point move out! She sit beside me though kissed me on the cheek and said "dad" you have my word I will NEVER live more than 100 miles from you! Just based on some things I can't discuss I have a feeling she is moving to Virginia Beach later in the fall!

Oh, more news. Keri will be working domestically for the foreseeable future. The real money is doing the overseas flights. She has to bid on routes a month ahead of time and right now unless she does fill in she won't do any more until at least March.

Back in Dayton, reloaded for SC delivery tomorrow.

It was cold in GA. The receiver told me I just missed a couple 60 degree days, and it's supposed to warm up during the week.

Meanwhile, sunny and 25° in "Gem City". Could be a lot worse.

I had a phone interview for a local job which pays a lot more than my current gig. We'll see how it develops.

I already know it ain't over until you make ALL the required RR crossing stops in a placarded vehicle.......

I'm dining in truck tonight; soup and a sammich. And Cheez-Its.

I might wander back here later, but I gotta get up early, so......g'nite all if I don't see ya later.

What does the cold do to the HFCS?

The stuff I take to GA is extremely thick and requires in-transit heat to keep it above minimum spec of 145°

It's loaded at 160°, so as long as ITH is hooked up, it will stay above 150° in any weather. (Including the "Polar Vortex" event back in 2018 or 19)

The lighter grades of HFCS that go to soda or ice cream plants are light enough to be relatively unaffected by cold weather.
