I know what a full Stanley will do when you leave it on the bunk in a cabover and the mechanic jacks the cab up. I needed a new windshield anyway but I hadn't planned on it so soon.

My WS had little white nylon ( plastic) washers on every bolt in the dash. That little detail kept it rattle free even at 8 yrs old @1 mil miles. That Truck was solid. Interior was like new. I kept up with every little thing. Burned dash light? Stop everything! Had the toggle switches with little lights on the end. Headlights on switch up-red, parking lights on switch down change to yellow.

When my Dad was a Trainer. Student rolled it over. He was asleep in the bunk. His 10” TV ( old style) broke a rib. Otherwise no injuries. Old Man put his boots on and kicked the windshield out.

I’m dreading changing the skeleton. Maybe JB epoxy mine. Reinforce with ? Cover with vinyl. I’d like to fix it once. Be done. Parking brake needs to be moved or surface mounted. Making changing it easier.? No exact plan as usual. Just ideas. Like to move the air switches, add some gauges. Like to make things more accessible. The WS had hinged dash panels. Another upgrade Luxury. Type of thing that puts manufacturers out of Business. Hudson, Packard, Freightliner sure knows how to build them cheap. Good simple Trucks. Better engineering on a lot of things. Other things they adapt to fit. New Tooling costs money. Dash of an 07 Classic looks exactly like a dash in a 80s FLC. Same doors. Makes parts available though. On the other hand, primer under paint is a factory option. Lol.

That almost sounds like an @otterinthewater story. Except his would not be a t.v. but an old missed poo pile.

I need 10 of them. Think they’ll take cash?
