I arrived at Sams 1 hr. and 5 minutes late. They were on a 15 min break. Lady was nice, said I’m sure you’ve been waiting since 8:00. Uhhh Yeah!, Thank You very much. Headed to p/u next load, only 6+ hrs. late. 24 hr. Shipper. Hoping that includes Sundays. 23 days out, this months been good. About time for a day or two off. Not yet though, best Loads are usually on Mondays.

Sitting here waiting, checked tires, greased fifth wheel, went to open hood. No plate. 2 bolts missing from bumper. SS bolts and nuts. Guess I should have used nylon locking nuts. My home made piece of aluminum angle for mounting the plate over the tow hole is also gone. No doubt lost it in Ky. on 65. That’s crazy. Never had that happen before. 4 bottom bolts and nuts are dummies. I’ll have to use 2 of them. Good thing I have bottom arm support added on each side. Guess I’ll be calling IRP for a temp plate tomorrow. I’ll have to put it in the windshield. I don’t like those. Blocks my vision.

 

If hes concerned enough to be carrying a rifle... Why are both his hands occupied???

If you can get to the nut side after bolts are installed.... Take a center punch and put 2 or 3 good divets in the threads right where the nut and bolt meet... You'll likely need an impact to get them off if you use stainless nuts and bolts.
