OK so at the risk of breaking thread rules, can I ask a question in here about if anybody ok I'm just gonna do it:

Hey does anybody know if you can repair the purge valve on a International LT air tank?

My primary air tank, the valve ok the tank was full of rusty water cause whoever had the truck before me didn't empty it and it was all rusty and when I purged it the rusty water got into the valve and now It seems the seal is damaged or else it's like Jammed open a little tiny bit.

I actually took the valve out and cleaned it as best I could I think the next step is disassembly and just need to know is that possible?

I think the problem started with building it in Wyoming. Build in Wyoming do so planning for the most extreme.

I wish, I am running a 4 axle Western Star but it looks like mine some.

Yes those are nacelles - those are likely GE ones. The larger nacelles now are split into multiple loads with the gear motor shipping separately. They are requiring like 40 plus ft in the well and are north 150k lbs and then the gear motors are like 135k lbs.

wish I would have bought a 13 axle nacelle set up versus my tower trailer but hindsight …..

Ok, not full. I mean, it had rusty water in it, but far from full, maybe a few tablespoons or so.

Could be that the owner of the thread might have the answer— never hurts to ask

Probably easier to replace it rather than repair it, they don't cost much and about every NAPA (and others) have them on the shelf.

I would think that just about any shop could help you out.
    It's not a computer thing.
