    Lol, I'd have to get some flat ones too then otherwise the wife will be trying to shake a brick off her foot like a cat trying to shake off a sock!!

    You will need a good supply of them. That’s what the old beat multi color pick-up is for. While your out picking up aluminum cans, pallets and cardboard, you also look for good cinder blocks.

    Lol, did have a porch made out of pallets once, cans go to a neighbor that needs the money, cardboard?good fire starter. NEVER pass up a good cinder block.:D:D

    There’s nuth’n wrong with pallets for a porch as long as it’s got some left over OSB to cap it

    That was a while ago, working construction at the time, everything for that porch came from the dumpster.

    The way I see it was I could make it work, it was free to me and kept it out of the landfill, that's a whole bunch of wins!! Mostly the free part at the time.

    You don’t have to convince me—I’ve been known to make a party out of picking rocks off the desert to build retaining walls, sidewalks or just to have in case I want an outdoor kitchen —kids considered it cruel and unusual punishment
