Used to buy the girls those in the 50's in the joints we frequented. Told them it was champagne. Not knocking the brand, just showing how opportunity sometimes presents it self.

I've taken Blackie into town because that large 90 degree fitting that is the bane of our existence is leaking.

The fitting is the new metal type.

The OM thinks just needs the end of the hose lopped off, cause it backs out just a scosh, producing said air leak.

For some reason, the designers of the year '14 truck thought it best to locate all this kind of stuff up under the 5th wheel.

We used to ask prospective employees if the thought they were tough enough to work for us. Not mean or bad, just that we did what it took to get the job done.
EG: Once had a 30K capacity Clark forklift to get in shape. Would not come in the shop door. Fall of year. short days and rainy frowzy weather. Pulled it up along side the low dock/porch, slung a tarp over it with some 2x4 prop spreaders, set an orchard heater in one end from work, ran heavy extension cord out and clamp on lights. Dry, warm, visible. All a "mechanic" could desire. Think we were paying $14.00 an hour then, dealerships were paying $12.00.(1980)
Several periods we would get behind. Work till 5PM. stop, clean up and run over to the steakhouse, eat, talk, relax, come back at 6:30 and go till 10:pM.
3 men turned off more, better work, and no extra payroll/personnel to fool with. Cheaper way to success. All happy.
