I got an email from what I thought said "Landstar", inviting me to orientation next Wednesday.

Then it talked of sign on bonuses and good equipment for company drivers and I was "Wait a sec, I didn't think Landstar HAD company drivers"......

    Recheck the sender. LandAIR.

I thought for a moment that maybe the OM was typing up a new driver file, and accidentally "fatpawed" my email address.....

They put the sauce on when they chop up the meat. I like how they do it, just enough sauce to hold the meat together.

Storm came though in the wee hours and we had 4+" of tain. Had an appt in Texarkana this am and it tained hard all the way back, and is still coming down. Another 2+". Won't be mowing for a while.
Good thing is I got gas in Texarkana at a Walmart Neighborhood Market for $3.379 a gallon. Every other place around there was at least $3.80. Never thought I would think buying gas for $3.379 a gallon was a good thing.

There was a HUGE ( All lanes blocked ) CRASH on the southbound US 75 this morning at about 0530.

This is one of the main arteries into mega indigenous population center.

We went by it on the feeder road. I have a feeling the MANATEE was HUGE this morning.

Paitent is recovered and ready for battle. Whole house smells like two stroke smoke as it too chilly and dark in shop. Some , Some dude was supposed to come by three weeks ago and give me estimate on putting electricity in shop but he has turned into Casper the Ghost.
