They do help with breaking the drag a bit. The percentage of help is small but would be noticeable over the span of months/years.

From the manufacturers site: wind tunnel results for a Honda, cause it is small enough to fit a wind tunnel without having to make allowances for wall turbulence.

An interesting and observable side effect is the cloud of mist coming off a trailer in the rain is noticeably smaller/shorter.

I'll bet lots of folks wished they had a trusty white 670 about now.

Finally made it to General Mills in Cedar Rapids IA, despite tain, a snow squall, and motherless wind.

Still lots of molasses to pump off the trailer, and 36 minutes to do it.

Looks like I'm overnighting at the company's CR terminal, with Swiss on Rye à la Volvo on tonight's bill of fare.

Unless there's someplace with better eats, and truck access, on the way there.

The air here smells like Cheerios. It's making me hungry.

I did manage to score some Chester's Chicken for lunch, but that was almost 8 hours ago.

The roving security guy walked past. Looks like he has a wand to read barcodes on the wall. Nice.

Back when I was doing that, I had to lug one of those 10 pound Detex clocks around to all the key stations, and turn each key about 15 times so the supervisor could read the tape in the morning, and I wouldn't get in trouble for allegedly missing a station.

    Modern technology.........

Hmmmmm. It's just occurred to The OM that these Panda containers are made from Styrofoam.

    Are these biodegradable????

Why are these being handed out in California???
