I haven't felt like talking about trucking this week.

I'm getting that "postal" feeling.......

I try to stay away from newspapers and TV news, but the NY Post popped up on my home screen, and like a dumbarze I clicked on it.

Bad idea.

Suffice to say I hope a heretofore undiscovered caldera suddenly erupts under the Capitol building and the White House, instantaneously consuming both buildings, and the occupants thereof, in a pillar of steam and fire.

Then we start over.......


On a lighter note, I was thinking of a new exercise routine for one of those "Recreation Department Summer Programs".

Forget mall walking.......

Try "Pick-up Close Order Drill".

Whoever shows up gets formed into columns, a DI is chosen by rotation/coin toss/ one-potato-two-potato, etc.

Then ten-hut! Forward.....(don't lean!) MARCH!

Start off rounding the field (or the gym if it's taining) with simple column turns, then work up to flanks and obliques and double-to-the-rears.

A great way to get some fresh air and moderate exercise, and meet other veterans in your community.
