Yep but eh whatever needed a day off anyway have a couple guys coming out to quote on a new HVAC. This way Lorrie won't have to deal with them by herself, although for some reason she always get great deals

Secret to the insulation factor on these homes is they are basically wrapped in 3" of Styrofoam.

They started building stuff with the Styrofoam wrap just about the time I moved here.

Commercial projects do two layers, with a layer of grout in-between.
That's how we get the super energy efficiency.

Roof is like 8 inches, with neoprene over it, layer of cement over that.

Exactly right. PIE had a dual set up in some of their tankers. It gave the bean counters something to do. The two graphs never completely agreed with each other on time and it drove the OCD types nuts.
I still have speedo graphs in the water trucks but the paper wheels are hard to find and expensive so I quit using them.

I bought a new fridge today. The old one has a great freezer. The lower part was weak. Plus I bought a new ac unit for the front room. The old one died, but it was 240 volt. A like for like replacement weighs 121 pounds and 18000 but. I bought a 10k btu unit, mainly due to weight, at 60lbs. I might have to go get the 18k btu unit, if the room can't stay cool.. I'll go back to work.

The truck has a new master kill switch, new I map sensor and air filter.
