Tonight I'm having roasted chicken and red potatoes. So when I saw the pic of package of lard, dang I'm cooking Carnitas for Sunday Tacos and just grabbed a pic of Carnitas off the internet. To cook Carnitas it is supper simple salt and black pepper a 6-8 lb porkbutt or pork shoulder cut into 2 inch cubes cook in the lard about 2 hours- I use the recipe from America's Test Kitchen

 

It wouldn't be surprising if he's locked out, he seemed to be having a good time yesterday
