Then it might be a wee bit confusing when hyphenated to N.C., cause i b in North Carolina which N.C. also stands for Not California.

How is the county road down that way? My bootlegger was just at the end of asphalt on the old sand road. Head in, buy, back out on pavement. Open on all weather.

Idk it's just a perspective from the old timers claiming it can cause the turbo to spool without oil running thru it. Don't know the legitimacy of that claim or If it has ever happened before..

I think it is a debate is as old as the straps over tarps debate or the straps vs. chains on structural steel debate.

Odd/Even days created some interesting interactions especially when some "scientist" tried "cutting in the lines" to get a Locked Fuel Cap on his vehicle.

I worked at a Mobil gas station near Bellflower, Calif., on Graveyard Shift when I was 20 into 21 and i gave no concern to the ODD/EVEN stupidity. Got some good "gifts" as trades for fueling and the owner never cared and some people actually paid for fuel and gifted. People "discovered" that "fuel any night" trick and guessed "they told 2 friends and the friends told two friends and so on" and there were short lines. No police activity. I fueled for free.

But if the exhaust valve is fully open the intake is fully closed, air has no place to go.
