Lol... Yeah its easy to say that now, but by the time mid July come round I was seriously wondering if I would make it until summers end. More than once he had to convince me to stay on for "just one more week". At the time it was the romance of being one of "the last true cowboys" that kept me going. Now I look back and realize I was under paid and taken advantage of... Not to mention I could have seriously hurt myself and no one would have known for days. But it's part of what made me who I am today.

Oh my goodness... Corperate safety folks would have had a field day with that kind of operation. I went in almost completely blind, but I didnt care cause I was "tough" and full of piss and vinegar... AKA, I was young and dumb.

Does he not have a name? Why do persist in calling him the army guy?

Yes he has a name, however I’m not at liberty to say it. Maybe someday I can, you have to understand this man is a lieutenant colonel in the US Army, He has a distinctive name and he is G2, I’m sorry it bothers you that I called him army guy, it’s just the way it is.

. 7K a week 4 days no more than 2100 miles and no Sunday and of course home every week preferably just 1 or 2 loads for the 4 days. Also no layovers between loads. No tight spots because of his long wheelbase 389. He would really like something dedicated so he knows what he will be doing every week. If the om still has interest I can give more details why he will never be happy.

Could just start calling him Tag? Save you some typing. Nobody else needs to know.
